Operator’s goal is to run at 100% of the engineered production as well as maintain exceptional level of quality.
Bartack Operator: Masters the skills to operate a bartack sewing machine. Is able to thread the machine, change the needle, change the bobbin, sew the required seam for whatever products is being produced. Operator’s goal is to run at 100% of the engineered production as well as maintain exceptional level of quality. This machine provides reinforcement stitching as well as decorative stitching with a programmable machine.
A multi-needle machine: Masters the skills to operate a multi-needle sewing machine. Is able to thread the machine, change the needle, sew the required seam for whatever products is being produced. Operator’s goal is to run at 100% of the engineered production as well as maintain exceptional level of quality. This machine provides closure on nit products and on long sewn seams.
Spreader: Spreading operator provides raw material utilization by laying fabric on the cutting table to meet the quantity required in stackable height and length with little waste of fabric. Marries the assigned marker or pattern to the fabric that will be cut for the product.
Cutting Operator: Using a hand knife, operator cuts stacked fabric provided by the spreader. The individual product pieces are cut with high quality to allow correct fit of the finished products. Quality is essential as well as speed of getting the cut complete. After the piece is cut, it will be bundled with string so that the pieces may be assembled in the sewing factory.
Bundler: Transports work from the cutting room to the sewing rooms. In the sewing room, provides bundles of work to the operators and provides consistent workflow without interruption to complete the products.
Fold, Pack, and Inspect: Receives finished product from sewers. Trims off loose threads, inspects products to comply with specifications, folds product to meet specifications, packages in plastic bag or directly into cardboard, seals box, and places shipping label on container for shipment.
Auditor: Inspects quality of products made in process as well as audits completed finished goods. Maintains a log of deficiencies and sewing operators with quality difficulties.
